SuperBowl Hangover

Opinion

Sorry guys, I tried, but I just didn’t have it in me to write a blog post at 1:00am after the Superbowl.

I’ll be back with new material from Tuesday to Friday though, I promise…

One of the best lines I’ve ever heard about gambling is the following:

“Don’t ever call me and tell me who should have, or would have, won last Sunday’s game.”

It’s true.

Unless you have the stones to predict what is going to happen, don’t bother.

Having said that, I would just like to say that I not only had Baltimore (+4.5), but I also had the over/under at over (48pts).

One of my clients, who just bought a place in Rosedale, emailed me and said, “If I’d bet the parlay, I could have won back my down-payment!”

Hindsight is 20/20.

Just as many people took San Francisco, otherwise the spread would have been different.

But seriously though, let’s talk about the story of the Superbowl…..how about that power outage?

Won’t that be the story in five years?

What the hell did you do during that forty-five minutes?  Talk to your significant other?  I feel your pain…

Happy Monday, folks.  I hope you all had a great time last night, and let’s talk about real estate on Tuesday…

Am I guessing correctly when I say you are not a Ray Lewis fan? Also, the key to making it through the power outage was good food. A nice spinach and cheese dip could have tided anyone over for 30+ minutes.

      @ Matthew

      No, you’re incorrect.

I love Ray Lewis. I didn’t used to, but there’s something about him that’s so inspiring and powerful. I’m not a religous person, so I don’t identify with his whole GOD thing, but the way he inspires and builds up other people is impressive. He’s a great man outside of the game (cynics will point to his 1999 wrongful arrest for murder…), whose basement is full of “trophies,” not of himself and his own achievements, but of those people he has crossed paths with.

I was pulling for Baltimore strictly for Ray Ray. Going out on top was a great story. Now hopefully Ed Reed will do the same, as Father Time is catching up with him. Actually, I believe he IS Father Time, judging from his grey…

Ate lasagna, watched the game. Power went out. Ate more lasagna. Passed out on couch waiting for lights to come back on. Missed finish.

Where did you get Ravens @ +4.5? I took Ravens +4, over 48 pts, as well I put down $100 that Alecia Keys would be over 2:10 in the anthem.

I can’t stop watching the GoDaddy Kissing ad. It’s like watching a train wreck happening in slow motion.

Imagine how many uncomfortable family moments that created in households around America. Instant classic!

    Slurp slurp!

    LOL

By the way, Danica Patrick is better looking than the supermodel. That is all.
