Do you live on one floor or two?
Sorry, I suppose that should have said, “One floor or several,” since freehold properties can feature, two, three, or even four levels of living space,”
When it comes to condominium living, an overwhelming majority of units are of the one-level variety, and it makes 2-storey units all the more special.
But how does the space work?
Is it functional? Do the stairs to the second level cut up the space? Is there a dramatic, two-level, floor-to-ceiling window that makes the entire layout worthwhile?
Not all 2-storey condos are a functional, useful, better use of space than their one-storey counter-parts, and it’s incredibly difficult to assess simply by looking at photos.
In today’s Pick5, I’m going to show you 2-storey condos, ranging in size from 570 square feet to 1,100, and ranging in price from $598,880 to $1,174,900 and we’ll try to determine whether the spaces “work” or not.
