If you’re on your second or third home, let me ask you a question: did you relocate within the same neighbourhood?
For example, did you own a small, semi-detached house in your area and then purchase a larger detached down the street, up the road, or on the other side of the park?
It’s very common for some people to plant roots in a certain neighbourhood only to move up in stature of home but do so in a new location. Then again, it’s also common for people to move within the same geographic radius.
When I look at The Beaches, I see a lot of folks that never want to leave. They buy a house, live there for a few years, then buy and sell and stay in The Beaches.
So in today’s Pick5, I want to look at the various price levels and housing types in the Beaches, starting with the entry-level 2-bedrooms, then moving to the entry-level semi-detached 3-bedrooms, moving up in price to the detached, 4-bedroom houses, and then finishing by looking at what I call a “fantasy house.”
All of these houses are hot commodities right now, all have “offer dates,” and all are going to result in competition!
