If you think that waterfront property in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho was something special, wait until you take a gander at these beauties in one of the most famous ski towns in North America: Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Sure, I could probably narrow down the choices to my ONE favorite house in Jackson, Wyoming, but there are just so damn many that I want to share!
Jackson, Wyoming is located about twenty-five minutes from our house in Victor, Idaho, and the real estate is about 3-4 times as expensive. It’s not out of the question to suggest that a $400,000 house in Victor would cost $1,500,000 in a prime location in Jackson. Perhaps that’s why so many people live in Victor and work in Jackson, but I digress…
Jackson Hole is a very well-known ski-resort with some of the best skiing in the west, outside of Park City, Utah.
It’s home to Harrison Ford and Dick Cheney, among others, and Harrison Ford once rescued a stranded skier in his helicopter – since he has the only helicopter in Jackson. Imagine the surprise of that skier when Indiana Jones flew to her rescue!
The Snake River runs through Jackson and is home to some of the best whitewater rafting in the west, and of course, properties that have direct access to the Snake are worth a fortune.
Here are my top three favorite properties for sale in Jackson:
#1: Bar B Bar Ranch Road, Jackson
Price: $24,750,000
7,583 square feet
72.0 acres
10 Bedrooms
12 Bathrooms
I’m not sure what you’d need TWELVE bathrooms for, but it sure is impressive! I suppose if you gave eleven friends food-poisoning at the same time, you’d suddenly feel pretty damn smart…
Look at that – the house fronts right onto the Snake!

#2: Ryegrass Road, Jackson
8,134 square feet
19.0 acres
7-Bedrooms
10-Bathrooms
I actually like this house more than the house above, but it comes in 2nd place because it doesn’t front onto the water, and of course – 19 acres is TINY compared to 72 acres. I mean, how can a person live on such a small plot of land? 19 acres? Pssssh!
But make note of the bathroom photo – imagine laying in that deep jacuzzi and staring out at the mountains!

God DAMN – look at that moose!
Suddenly, my downtown Toronto condo seems lacking….
Have a great weekend, everybody! I’m back this weekend, and I’ll be posting about (gulp…) Toronto real estate come Monday.
For now, I’m soaking in the last days of this beautiful Idaho sky…

How can a ten bedroom, 7,600 sqft house only have twelve bathrooms? Obviously, every bedroom has an ensuite, leaving only two powder rooms for the rest of the living area?? Unless… but no, surely the agent couldn’t have stooped to listing the staff quarters among the bedrooms — how gauche would that be?
