Robocop Invades Toronto!

I’m not a star-worshipper by any means, but I did find it very cool to see Robocop flying down Jarvis Street on a motorcycle on Sunday afternoon!

We can all watch the movie in 2014 and say, “That’s my city!!!”

Most of the time, when you see the white trailers by the curb, the orange pylons on the road, and the guys in head-sets standing idly by, the production is for a toothpaste commercial, or maybe if you’re lucky – an advertisement for the GAP.

But once in a while, it’s something kind of cool.

It’s been twenty-five years since Robocop made its debut in 1987, and in 2014, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, and the girl who plays Bautista’s sister in Dexter will star in a re-hash of the original movie that will probably give Batman Begins a run for its money.

Here’s another video from street level of a stunt driver on the motorcycle:

Okay, maybe I’ll see this in the theatre.

Rainbow Cinema, anyone?
